ABOUT
Kathryne David Gargano (she/they) is a queer writer interested in myth, retellings, art, and religion. They received their PhD in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, where they were awarded a Distinguished Dissertator Fellowship, and their MFA from the University of Nevada - Las Vegas. Their work has received support from the AWP Intro Journal Awards, the Carolyn Moore Writing Residency, and Yetzirah: A Hearth for Jewish Poetry. Their poems and short stories have been published in Black Warrior Review, Bellevue Literary Review, Gulf Coast, The Arkansas International, Notre Dame Review, Tahoma Literary Review, and others.
